Recently, our talented Dietician, Leslie Schwartz, joined forces with our Health Center Activities team to present "Weird and Wonderful Food," an event where residents get to sample unique and exciting... dishes they may have never tried before.

For this special holiday edition, Leslie treated everyone to festive flavors from around the world, including German Stollen, Pfeffernüsse cookies, Italian Panettone, and traditional Hanukkah latkes. 🌍🍪

It was a delicious journey celebrating culture and tradition through food, and our residents loved every bite! ❤️

This week, we had our annual Resident Employee Appreciation Gathering, and what a fantastic celebration it was! Each year, our generous residents contribute to our employee holiday fund as a heartfelt way to show their gratitude to our incredible staff. 🙏🎅🎉

The party is a ...cherished tradition that both residents and staff eagerly look forward to each year. It’s a beautiful reflection of the kindness, appreciation, and strong bonds that make Harrogate such a special community.

Harrogate is proud to provide the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care program in our Health Center. This nationally recognized program offers specialized care and support to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The program focuses on the resident and their abilities by ...using customized reminiscence tools to capture details about their life story, which are then used to design individualized programming for each resident. These customized activities promote physical and emotional well-being, prolong daily functioning, and help residents maintain a sense of purpose, dignity, and quality of life. 💙😊
