Happy March from Harrogate! An exciting month is ahead for our Independent Living residents, filled with festive programs, engaging outings, and plenty of fun. This month includes a trip to see Socks in the Frying Pan, a multi-award-winning trio from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, plus a lively St. ...Patrick’s Day performance and sing-along with Gary Nokes, and so much more.

The Dining Room was filled with sweet treats during our latest live food demonstration, featuring red velvet cupcakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Residents enjoyed watching everything come together, and once the samples came out, they didn’t last long. These treats were definitely a hit!
Due to the major snowstorm, we have postponed today's Lunch & Learn to ensure everyone's safety. Our Lunar New Year Bingo celebration was filled with lively energy and plenty of cheer. Between the lucky calls and the excited shouts of “Bingo,” there was nonstop laughter and just enough friendly competition to keep everyone on their toes. It was wonderful to see everyone gathered around the... tables, sharing in the fun together!
Love was definitely in the air at Harrogate this Valentine’s Day as our very own Director of Dining Services, Melissa Wagner, went above and beyond to beautifully decorate the dining room. Residents walked in and were instantly taken by how beautiful everything looked, setting the tone for a day ...filled with love. It was a heartfelt touch that made the celebration feel even more special for everyone who gathered together.
Our Health Center residents enjoyed a tailgate-inspired spread with snacks and drinks while cheering on the Puppy Bowl in our main living room. For those who preferred to stay cozy in their rooms, our Activity Staff delivered treats curbside. Go Team Harrogate!
Our residents enjoyed a peaceful afternoon at Sip & Paint, where blank mugs came to life with soft florals and colorful details. It was a pleasure to see everyone gathered in a creative setting, thoughtfully painting and enjoying the experience at their own pace. Afternoons like this are what ...make our community feel so special!
During the recent winter blizzard, many team members stepped up to help keep our community safe. Members of our marketing team, Caroline Wall and Emily Sweeney, helped shovel, snapped a few snowy photos, and even made time for some snow angels along the way. It was a true team effort and a reminder... that even during a storm, there is always room for a little joy!
Our residents headed out to Koi Hibachi, where flames on the grill brought some much-needed warmth after a chilly week. Lunch came with a show, and the food definitely lived up to it. It’s easy to see why this continues to be a favorite, with everyone leaving full and entertained!
Our Ladies Snowflake Tea Party was beautiful from beginning to end! The ladies of Harrogate arrived in their finest attire, dressed to impress. The room was styled with a soft winter touch, and upon entering, you could see the love and care put into every detail. Throughout the afternoon, harpist ...Connie Arcilla played softly in the background, bringing everything together.

Our talented residents, Sal Marino and Dick Handschuch, gave a presentation on their book "The Beach Bum’s Guide to the Boardwalks of New Jersey." They shared what inspired the book, along with stories and memories tied to the boardwalks they know and love. It was a fun look at New ...Jersey’s shoreline that had many of us picturing sunshine, ocean breezes, and the sound of waves just beyond the boards. #SeniorLiving #SeniorLivingNJ
