When Frank Monaco took the job of administrator of Harrogate’s healthcare center some years ago, his own retirement wasn’t at the forefront of his mind. He never guessed that he’d eventually call Harrogate his permanent home, thanks, in part, to his wife.
“She loved it here from the moment I took the job,” Frank says. “We were obviously aware of Harrogate before I took the job, because of its prominence in the community, but once you get close to a place like this, you can’t help but fall in love with it.”
Frank says it’s the people of Harrogate that made the decision to move in easy for him.
“Around every corner you find a friendly face,” he says. “There’s a feeling of community here that truly sets Harrogate apart. My wife and I have built some of the closest and most meaningful relationships of our lives here.”
Frank’s experience as an administrator has given him the peace of mind that comes with knowing he and his wife will always have the care they need.
“Right now we’re independent and loving every minute of it,” Frank says. “And we know that if either of us should require assistance down the road, it’s all here. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
